The Why

Our company grew out of a desire to bring craftsmanship back to technical outdoor gear. After years working in design and development roles for leading outdoor brands, we watched the industry shift offshore in pursuit of volume and higher margins. As that happened, the hands-on nature of the work we loved slowly disappeared. With companies constantly being bought and sold, we began looking for something more stable, more personal—and something we could build for our family.

Drawing on our deep experience in designing and manufacturing technical apparel and equipment, we chose to chart our own path. It started modestly, in our basement, repairing dry suits with just a couple of machines. As work came in, we reinvested—adding equipment, sourcing materials, and expanding our capabilities.

Word spread. We began building custom suits for people who couldn’t find the right fit off the retail rack, and for those seeking a different kind of relationship with their dry suit company—one rooted in craftsmanship, communication, and trust.

Today, we proudly design and build all of our dry suits and gear in our New Westminster, BC facility. We’re a small, family-run business committed to quality, function, and fit. We believe great gear should be made by people who truly understand its purpose—and the people who depend on it in demanding environments.
